Hi, I'm Jayati Makhijani, a Product Designer who came to digital design through an unexpected path. My background in Interior Design taught me to think about how people move through spaces, which is exactly how I approach information architecture today.
I've spent 3+ years designing products where clarity isn't optional, for law enforcement, emergency responders, and enterprise SaaS teams. I'm the designer who stays in the room with engineering, because I speak their language.
I work AI-natively, using ChatGPT, Claude, and Figma Make to ship production-ready React components and design systems directly in VS Code.
