About me
Hey! I'm Jayati Makhijani, a Product Designer with 3+ years of experience building SaaS platforms, design systems, and research driven interfaces. I came to digital design through an unexpected path, my background in Interior Design taught me to think about how people move through spaces, which is exactly how I approach UX today.
I design with empathy first, understanding the person before touching the pixels. After my MS in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University. I've worked on products where clarity isn't optional, from emergency response dashboards to VR training tools for law enforcement. I work AI-natively, using ChatGPT, Claude, and Figma Make to ship production-ready work faster than traditional design cycles allow.
